Day group for elderly keeps loneliness at bay

Review: Today Ella Stokes of the Otago Daily Times reported on the Mosgiel Elderly Care Trust, which is celebrating 35 years of preventing social isolation and loneliness in the local community.

With about 50 members, the service operates 10am-3pm Monday to Friday and typically has 12 attendees per day. Funding is provided by the Southern DHB and other donors.
