Ditch the ‘likes’ for digital detox day

Review: Today Cherie Howie writes in the Herald on Sunday about digital detox day on 1 July.  Doug Moores is encouraging people to turn-off their devices for the day, including Facebook, email, Instagram, and Twitter. Moores believes there is a connection between use of devices and mental health.

“We want to help New Zealanders realise their full potential and change our relationship with technology to one that serves our dreams and aspirations rather than distracts, depresses and isolates.”
