Dr Tom: The power of talking

Review: Today Dr Tom Mulholland wrote in the Sunday Star Times of the importance of connecting with others; which he called one of the five ways of wellbeing. He provides the anecdote of walking his dog along the beach and engaging with everyone in some way that he passed.

He notes that: “Connecting with others is not only good for you but can be good for them as sometimes just some human interaction can make all the difference.  Loneliness is a massive problem in our society and a major cause of poor mental health.”
