Sprightly seniors dancing in the aisles

Review:  Today Dionne Christian of the Herald on Sunday reported on SeniorsDance, where Older Adults “learn to dance using movements designed to build balance and co-ordination, keep joints mobile, strengthen muscles and address physical, mental and social wellbeing.”

The article highlights Dick Lane, who joined the dance classes.  In 2015 he retired from part-time work and was worried he would become bored and lonely.  Instead, he joined SeniorsDance, of which six members will be dancing in supermarket aisles this month.
